In 2014, Samantha was looking for a new job as she was feeling restricted with her desk-bound shift work at her previous company. After joining this industry, she learned to truly appreciate the flexibility of her job as a financial consultant.
Samantha gets to see her clients grow with her when they progress towards different life stages. Being in this career made her realize that life is too short to be doing work that doesn’t bring value to yourself and the people around you.
Samantha has had a bad experience of being misled by a Malaysian insurance agent many years ago, and that caused her to despise people working in this line. She thought there were no strict regulations being practiced in Malaysia, where agents are just telling you what you like to hear. Since then, she always believes in doing things that do not harm others and herself, and in treating others the way she would like them to treat her.
Samantha believes that honesty is the best policy, and it has led her to where she is today with a pool of friends and clients who would always refer her to their friends and family, and they will come back to her when they enter into a new stage of their lives.
